Announcement from the CCKRA Board of Directors

To all members of the CCKRA Community,

It has come to the attention of the CCKRA Board of Directors that there have been recent violations of the code of conduct and the rules and regulations that govern our Club. The Board wants to remind all members that such violations are taken seriously, and the integrity of our club is paramount.

Effective immediately, a member has been suspended for the rest of the season due to their unacceptable behavior. The specific incident involved disrespecting Race Officials, threatening other individuals, and not following safety rules and protocols. All of which are absolutely unacceptable and cannot be tolerated in any form or fashion.

Our club is built upon a foundation intended to provide a fun, family-oriented atmosphere where all participants and their families can enjoy the sport of kart racing. We must all strive to be examples to our children and our community, demonstrating respectful and sportsmanlike behavior both on and around the track.

It is essential that every member adheres to the following principles:
1. **Respect**: Treat race officials, fellow racers, and all members of the community with respect at all times.
2. **Conduct**: Abusive language, foul language, and any form of threats or intimidation will not be tolerated.
3. **Sportsmanship**: Display good sportsmanship, win or lose, and encourage positive and friendly interactions.
4. **Adherence to NKA Rules**: Following the safety rules and protocols as written in the NKA rulebook to keep our racers safe is non-negotiable. 

We appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and ask for your cooperation in ensuring that the CCKRA remains a welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone. Let’s continue to foster the spirit of camaraderie, competition, and mutual respect that defines our club.
